Marissa Means

Marissa joined Oakwell in 2021 drawn to the firm’s commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and building meaningful client relationships.

Originally from Arkansas, Marissa earned her Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. She spent several years living in Northern California primarily working in the non-profit and state government sectors, before relocating to Austin to raise her family.

At Oakwell, Marissa plays a key role in supporting our firm’s advisors and clients while helping drive service excellence, operational efficiency, as well as compliance efforts. Known for her positive and collaborative approach, she enjoys building strong relationships and takes pride in improving internal processes to ensure a seamless client experience.

Outside of work, Marissa stays busy keeping up with her two active sons and their extracurricular activities, and planning family adventures.
