Kyte McDonald

Kyte brings a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset to his role as a Financial Planning Intern at Oakwell, valuing the opportunity to build genuine, lasting relationships. As a former collegiate student-athlete and the oldest of three, he learned the importance of discipline, leadership, and preparation.

Kyte studied and played at Mississippi State, Wichita State, and Rice University, winning a National Championship in 2021and earning multiple academic and athletic honors. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Rice, where he is learning to apply his studies to his work at Oakwell. His experience also includes financial analysis with a private investment firm, where he evaluated business performance and identified growth opportunities.

A proud New Braunfels native, Kyte also works as a baseball instructor, coaching players of all ages to develop their skills and confidence. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, spending time with family, and tuning into sporting events of all kinds.
