Kyte McDonald

Kyte brings a strong work ethic and a team-first mindset to his role as a Financial Planning Associate at Oakwell, valuing the opportunity to build genuine, lasting relationships. As a former collegiate student-athlete and the oldest of three, he learned the importance of discipline, leadership, and preparation.

Kyte studied and played baseball at Mississippi State, Wichita State, and Rice University, winning a National Championship in 2021 and earning multiple academic and athletic honors. He earned his MBA from Rice University, where he learned to apply advanced financial and strategic concepts to his work at Oakwell. His prior experience also includes financial analysis with a private investment firm, where he evaluated business performance and identified growth opportunities.

Originally from Castroville, near San Antonio, Kyte now lives in New Braunfels. He also works as a baseball instructor, coaching players of all ages to develop their skills and confidence. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, spending time with family, and tuning into sporting events of all kinds.
